Alex Nall drew this over a year ago when he was at the Garden House. A nice memory.
Thanks, Alex.

The second (belated) installment of the Sunday Double Take that my mom and I started doing together. This week’s theme was fruit. Any suggestions for next week?

The Sunday Double Take, #1

My mom majored in art in undergraduate school, so I grew up drawing, painting, and making crafts with her for fun. Recently we were talking about how we missing making art together and came up with the idea of doing a weekly series where we each draw the same thing with whatever medium we choose.

This week’s theme was bottles, and we each ended up drawing hot sauce.

We’re open to suggestions for next week’s theme. Let me know what you think.

Sketches from last week at the cabin.

Spring break has given me time to build my own ink pens from our bamboo and a pen box to hold them.
